How to Import Your Letters from FutureMe

Moving to FuturePost? We've made it incredibly easy to bring all your letters with you. This guide will walk you through exporting your letters from FutureMe and importing them into FuturePost in just a few minutes.

Why Import Your Letters?

If you've been using FutureMe or similar services, you've likely accumulated meaningful letters over the years. These letters represent your journey, your growth, and your reflections. Instead of leaving them behind, bring them to FuturePost where they'll be:

Step 1: Access Your FutureMe Account & Export Your Letters

    Sign in to FutureMe

    Head over to futureme.org and log in with your credentials.

    Export your letter collection

    Choose one of these two methods to download your letters:

    Method 1: Quick Export (Recommended)

    Click this direct link to instantly download your CSV file.

    Note: You must be signed into your FutureMe account for this to work.

    Method 2: Manual Export

    If the direct link doesn't work, follow these steps:

    • Navigate to "Your Letters" in the menu
    • Click on "Delivered Letters"
    • Find and click "Export Delivered Letters" at the bottom left corner

    Save the CSV file

    Your browser will download a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file containing all your delivered letters. Save it somewhere you can easily find it for the next step.

Pro Tip: The quick export link makes it super easy to get your data. Just make sure you're signed in first, click the link, and your CSV will download automatically!

Step 2: Prepare Your CSV File

Your CSV file needs to have the following columns for successful import:

Step 3: Import to FuturePost

    Sign up for FuturePost

    Create your free account to start importing your letters.

    Upload your CSV file

    Click the upload area or drag and drop your CSV file. We'll validate the format automatically.

    Review and confirm

    We'll show you a summary of what will be imported. Click "Import Letters" to complete the process.

    Done!

    Your letters are now safely stored in FuturePost. Letters with future delivery dates will be automatically scheduled.
